PushContext — Privacy Policy

PushContext is a "push knowledge infrastructure" that observes live work across tools (for example, Slack, Jira, GitHub, Docs, CRM), detects relevant prior knowledge, and pushes concise, actionable cards. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, and the choices and rights available to you.

1) Scope & roles

This Policy applies to personal data we process about: website visitors, waitlist sign-ups, prospects/customers, and end users who interact with PushContext surfaces or integrations.

• For EU/UK users, Lupus Creed Private Limited is the data controller for website and waitlist data and typically a controller (or joint controller) for admin/tenant configuration. For some enterprise deployments we may act as a processor with the customer as controller (see GDPR guidance).
• For India, we act as a Data Fiduciary (or Data Processor where the customer is the Data Fiduciary) under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2) What we collect

We collect only the personal data necessary to provide, improve, secure, and support PushContext. Examples include:

• Account & contact data: name, email, company, role, preferences, and communications with us.
• Usage & event data: product telemetry (feature interactions), device/technical data (IP, user agent), diagnostics, and in-product feedback.
• Integration data: metadata and snippets needed to match and push knowledge (e.g., message or issue titles, PR diffs, document fragments). We respect source ACLs and offer tenant settings to minimize or obfuscate data where feasible.
• Support & sales data: support tickets, notes, and call summaries (when applicable).
• Cookies & similar technologies: used for analytics, preferences, and security (see §10).

We do not knowingly collect data from children. PushContext is intended for business use and is not for individuals below applicable age thresholds.

3) Why we use data (purposes) & legal bases

We use personal data to:

• Provide and operate PushContext (account setup, authentication, integration connections, event processing, and in-product experiences).
• Improve and secure the product (monitoring, debugging, analytics, abuse/fraud prevention).
• Communicate product updates, onboarding, and transactional messages (and, with consent, limited marketing).
• Meet legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal bases (examples): under GDPR we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (product improvement, security), consent where required (non-essential cookies or marketing), or legal obligation. Local laws such as India’s DPDP Act and U.S. state privacy laws are respected as applicable.

4) Data minimization & retention

We collect the minimum data necessary to deliver relevance while protecting privacy. Tenants may enable redaction or allow-lists. Personal data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then deleted or de-identified according to our retention schedules.

5) Sharing & disclosures

We do not sell personal information. We may share personal data with:

• Service providers and processors (hosting, analytics, error monitoring, email).
• Integrations you authorize (for example, posting to Slack/Jira via a connector).
• Corporate transactions (merger, acquisition, financing).
• Legal authorities when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.

6) International transfers

We may process data in India and other countries where we or our providers operate. For EU/UK transfers we use appropriate safeguards (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses) and complementary controls where required.

7) Your privacy rights

Your available rights vary by jurisdiction. We will honor applicable rights requests after verifying identity and authorization. Examples include:

• India (DPDP): access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise rights.
• EU/UK (GDPR): rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, portability, object, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
• California & certain U.S. states: rights to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of certain sharing; submit requests via email.

8) Security (summary)

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of data, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging and audit, and secure development practices. Tenants can configure approvals and action thresholds to mitigate risk.

9) Children’s data

PushContext is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to request removal.

10) Cookies & similar technologies

We use essential cookies for core site functions and security, and—with consent where required—analytics and measurement cookies. You can manage preferences via browser settings and any cookie banner shown. Some features may not function without essential cookies.

12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in practices, technology, or law. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date; where required we will notify users or seek consent.
